Who we are

What we collect
Aisle Coach is designed to put as little of your data on a server as possible. Here is what does leave your phone, and why:
- Your Apple Sign In user identifier. This is a stable, anonymous string Apple gives us when you sign in. We use it to recognize you across sessions and to associate your subscription with your account. We do not receive your Apple ID email unless you choose to share it.
- Your subscription state. When you subscribe to Aisle Coach Pro, Apple sends us the transaction signature (StoreKit 2). We store which plan you're on (monthly or yearly), when it started, and when it renews. We do not see or store your payment method, credit card, or Apple ID password.
- The coach-written free text you type into the 'practice notes' and 'specific ask' fields on the practice generation screen. This text is sent to the AI (Anthropic's Claude) so it can write a plan that addresses what you asked for. It is capped at 500 characters per field.
- How many times you generate a practice plan. We record a count per user so we can enforce the 15-plans-per-30-day Pro cap. We also log the AI model used and the token count, to track cost.
What we do not collect
The following data lives only on your phone. It does not go to our servers, and we cannot see it:
- Your team name, sport, age group, and settings.
- Your roster: player names, jersey numbers, any notes you keep about players.
- Your practice history: which drills you ran, when practices happened, attendance.
- Your game logs: playing time, positions, shifts.
- Your coach preferences.
This data is stored in Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. It does not sync to iCloud in this version of the app.
Who sees your data
We use three services that may process data on our behalf:
- Anthropic (Claude API). The free-text fields you type in the practice generator, plus anonymized team context (counts, ages, equipment) and the drill library, are sent to Anthropic's Claude model to generate a practice plan. Anthropic's API terms prohibit them from using your inputs to train their models. We do not send player names or any personally identifying information about your kids to Anthropic.
- Cloudflare. Our backend runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare sees standard request metadata (IP address, request headers) at the network edge.
- Apple. Apple processes Sign in with Apple and all in-app purchases (StoreKit). Their privacy policies apply to those interactions.
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. There are no ads in Aisle Coach.
How long we keep data
- AI generation events: 30 days rolling, so we can enforce your quota. Older records are auto-deleted.
- Subscription records: for the life of your subscription, plus a short audit window after cancellation.
- Apple notification history: retained for operational audit of the subscription lifecycle.
Your rights
You can:
- Ask us what data we have about you. Email founder@wanderlustinnovations.com and we'll respond within 14 days.
- Ask us to delete your account and all server-side data. We will delete everything within 30 days of your request. Data in the App Store (your purchase history with Apple) is not ours to delete.
- Correct any data we have. Email with the correction.
If you're in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA. The rights listed above apply to you regardless.
Children's privacy
Aisle Coach is for adult volunteer coaches. It is not designed for children and children do not use the app.
The app handles information about children (your roster, with their names and jersey numbers) only in the sense that the coach enters it on their own device for their own use. That information never leaves the coach's phone and is never sent to our servers or to any third-party service. Because no data about children is collected by us, the app is not subject to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will post the updated version here and note the change. We won't change the substance of what we collect without telling you first.
Governing law
Wanderlust Innovations, LLC is registered in the State of Georgia, USA. Any dispute about this privacy policy will be governed by the laws of Georgia.
