A place to write.
A Christian journaling app powered by Claude. A warm, literary companion for reflection — write honestly about faith, doubt, grief, gratitude, anger, and everything in between.
Known is not a mental health service or a therapy tool. It is a place to write.
Signature Feature
A user-controlled depth setting that governs how much Christian language, prayer, and scripture Claude brings into every response — across all features.
Fully secular. Warm and human, but entirely without faith framing or spiritual language.
Faith-adjacent atmosphere. Christian worldview through tone and imagery — held, grace, rest, beloved — without naming God directly.
Clearly Christian. God named naturally. Prayer language present. One scripture verse woven into each entry, never appended.
Scripture-forward. Multiple verses cited. Prayer as a natural mode. The Psalms are the tonal model — honest, anguished, faithful, and direct with God.
The setting applies to journaling, Reflect outputs, and template-generated entries. Change it anytime via Settings or through natural language in conversation.
Every feature is designed to help you find language for what you're actually feeling — and what it means.

A note on safety: Known has hardcoded limits that apply at every faith level. When a hard limit is triggered, Claude acknowledges the user warmly, explains clearly what territory Known cannot enter, and provides relevant crisis resources — 988, Crisis Text Line, SAMHSA, the National Domestic Violence Hotline, or RAINN depending on the category. Known is not a therapist or a crisis tool, and the app surfaces this clearly at onboarding.
